Stayed half way between Barcelos and Ponte de Lima. This place would be a $350 per night stay in Calif.  OJ from home grown oranges and home made pineapple cake upon check-in.

Amazing dinner in the gardens (Mike's cod dinner is actually cod-cakes.) All fruits and veggies are grown on the estate. Here we are, contemplating this meal (after grocery store "Mini Mercado" dinners the last few nights!).

What an amazing night at Casas do Rio guest house, complete with deep pink, rose-scented TP. Everything is calm and rejuvenating. In the US, this lovely place should be offered for corporate retreats (especially with the nice touch of no WI-FI signal in the rooms!)
